Our story — From dreams to reality
It all began with a simple dream: to introduce the warmth and authenticity of African flavors to Canada and the United States. Driven by the energy of determined entrepreneurs, we chose a name that reflects us: Makeda, in reference to the Queen of Sheba, a woman of vision, travel, and knowledge.
Makeda is the taste of the real thing: a premium Touba Coffee with a spicy character, refined hibiscus teas, and carefully selected local ingredients.
Behind every product, there is a commitment: to source with rigor, transform with respect, deliver quickly and support you closely.
Our ambition goes beyond the plate: to create a bridge between our origins and North America, to share flavors, know-how, and stories. To grow without denying our roots, to innovate without diluting the soul of our recipes.
